INSIEME NETWORKS / CISCO
Background:
Insieme was an incubator project to create software-defined networking technology, specifically its first fabric-based networking controller. I was brought on as the creative director, UI/UX and visual designer for the product. I led the entire design initiative creating flows, mock-ups, icons, interactions, and visual design. I worked directly with management, key stakeholders and engineers to quickly turned around iterations for vetting by the engineering team. Once approved, I generated and delivered detailed specifications. Though the nature of the project was incredibly conceptual and complex, the workflow and process was streamlined, efficient, and effective.
As a result, Insieme was acquired by Cisco quickly after launch for $863 million.
